Clearly this problem hasn’t been resolved and 70% of men haven’t evolved. I seriously sought an LTR for 20 years then gave up 15 years ago. From long experience and this comment thread my theory is proven yet again. 30% of hetero men are the cream. They worked on themselves and consider bright, self actualized women to be desirable, worthy partners. I’ve met and befriended many, and the brilliant women they married… women who were quicker to spoon the cream off the top than I was. These friends are couples who inspire each other to great feats of love, support and good humor. I learned to do that for myself and am much happier single than with anything (watery and rather sour) left in the barrel. I liked the comment about sexbots. I should invest since compliant machines with no debating skills who look like 20-year olds will be the ideal product for so many.
