A big, round redwood table surrounded by twelve elaborately carved chairs was arranged in a fairy ring of giant sequoias overlooking an infinity ocean. The smell of the air was thicker, damper, saltier and earthier than the light, clear fragrance of the Celestial side just over there. Eleven entities of varying shapes, sizes and dispositions had appeared and were seating themselves at the large, polished table.
Gamdi greeted everyone, “Thanks for powering down to join us here at the edge. It will make it easier for Rose to pop up for a short time. Your willingness to give so much attention and energy to a single wayward soul with a small chance for a successful outcome is inspiring, and deeply appreciated. Most of you have been connected in multiple endeavors, but for formality’s sake, let’s go around the table. I’m Gamdi, I guide Mernie who is currently embodied on the central coast of California, and at the halfway point in her life.” He gestured to a beautiful, smiling figure in a gleaming, frothy blue gown to his left. — From Chapter 9
