Robinson's opus is magnificent, but I have to (reluctantly) take the TINA—there is no alternative—view.. All the devoted work by brilliant climatologists and economists would have been for naught without the shocking drone attacks. Since humanity is in its adolescent stage of evolution, fear is still the greatest, most effective motivator for change. Micro example: it's the only thing that got me sober. Good sense couldn't.
