With apologies to Sandro Botticelli, I photoshopped my dog Faun into a detail of the three Graces his classic Primavera painting.
Magical beasts have watched over me, so two of my dogs are spirit guides who helped me plan this life. They showed up when I was in desperate need of more love. My current companion is Faun the amazing chihuahua, who shape shifted into a minor deity in my memoir, and helped me write it.
2022 update: Faun’s heart attacked her in January right before the ice storm, so now she is back dancing on the other side. I know she is happy, but I like it when she is in a cute, furry body next to me much more.
